Meet Our Staff

Lora Hayes

 Lora is the owner of Nova Learning Center. She has owned Nova for over 20 years! When she isn't at Nova, she enjoys spending time with her grandsons.

Gerri Wells

Gerri is the preschool teacher at our center. She has also been here for over 20 years. She can also be seen helping in the toddler room from time to time. 

Angie Gibson

 Angie is also a preschool teacher at Nova. She has been here for over 20 years as well. In her free time she enjoys traveling with her daughter.

Mary Pennington

Mary is the administrator at our center. She has been here for over 5 years! In her free time Mary likes to spend time with her family hanging out outside. She also really enjoys crafting!

Mickenzley Springer

 Mickenzley, also know as Mickey, spends most of her time in the infant and toddler rooms. Mickey attended Nova as a child and is excited to be back as a teacher. She is also a nursing student at Ohio University. In her free time she likes to spend time outside with her two puppies. 

Alison Biehl

 Alison teaches in the preschool and school age rooms. It is her senior year at Ohio University and she will be graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Education. After college she plans to become a high school science teacher. She enjoys spending time outdoors and hanging out with her friends.

Chloe Power

 Chloe spends her time teaching in the toddler and preschool and school age room. She recently graduated Ohio University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently attending OU for graduate school. She enjoys swimming and spending time outside reading.

Sarah Lifer

Sarah is a current senior at Ohio University in the Child and Family Studies;non-profit program. She spends most of her time in the Toddler room but loves every student that comes through the doors. She enjoys camping, hiking and loves to read.

Brianne Booth

 Bri is a teacher in the infant and toddler rooms. She works outside of Nova as a part-time nanny and enjoys caring for children very much. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. 

Elianna Toppercer

Elianna spends most of her time teaching in the toddler room. She also attended Nova as a child! She is a Zoology major at Miami University. She enjoys spending time outside hiking, fishing, and kayaking.
